Russian President and Uzbekistan President discuss regional issues

Bayan News – The Kremlin has announced that Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, will meet with Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of Uzbekistan, on Monday (May 27).

Putin arrived in Uzbekistan yesterday evening for a two-day visit and upon arrival, he visited a historical project in the country.

The Kremlin has stated that the presidents of the two countries will discuss bilateral cooperation and regional issues.

This is the third trip abroad for Mr. Putin since the start of his fifth presidential term.

It has been reported that the Presidents of Russia and Uzbekistan will sign several cooperation documents.
