Biden: I am in contact with the Chinese leader, but I have no reason to contact Putin

Bayan News – U.S. President Joe Biden, referring to the Washington-Moscow relationship, added that if Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, is willing to negotiate, he will be ready to do so.

Biden made these remarks on Thursday (July 11) at a press conference at the White House. He held a press conference after the demands of the Democrats for Biden to withdraw from the elections and prevent Trump’s certain victory, and stressed that he will remain until the end of the elections.

In this press conference, Biden discussed various global issues, including relations with Russia and China.

The President of the United States said: “I am currently in contact and interaction with the President of China, but I do not have a good reason to contact Putin. However, if Putin is ready to negotiate, I am also ready.”

He clearly stated: “If we let Russia succeed in Ukraine, they will not stop in Ukraine.”

On the other hand, while warning China and stating that the Cold War era is over, Biden added: “The era of war is over. We are currently building an alliance between East Asian and Pacific countries to make the world a safer place.”

Biden warned China: “At the NATO meeting, we discussed the future cooperation between China and Russia. We must make it clear to China that if it cooperates militarily and intelligence-wise with Russia and North Korea, it cannot benefit from the economic interests of the Western market.”

The President also noted that China, Russia, Iran and North Korea, who were not coordinated in the past, are now thinking of ways to influence the world.
