The Scottish government accepted 19 Afghan female students to continue their studies

Bayan News – Scottish media reported on Wednesday (August 21) that 19 Afghan female students have been transferred to this country to continue their medical studies.

According to the report, the Afghan female students were transferred to Scotland in coordination with a charity organization, and they are those who were deprived of education after the Taliban came to power.

According to the report, the Scottish government transferred these students in cooperation with the “John and Lorna Norgrove” charity, whose parents are the Scottish aid worker “Linda Norgrove”.

Linda Norgrove, a Scottish aid worker, passed away in Afghanistan in 2020.

According to the report, the Afghan female students were welcomed yesterday at the “Edinburgh” airport in Scotland.
