Taliban: Japan is an Important Part of Our Foreign Policy
Bayan News – Molavi Abdul Kabir, the Political Deputy Prime Minister of the Taliban, says that Japan is an important part of the foreign policy of the current government in Kabul. This Taliban political official met with Takayoshi Kurumaya, the Japanese ambassador in Kabul, on Thursday (September 5).
In this meeting, Molavi Abdul Kabir noted that the relations between Afghanistan and Japan are significant and beneficial for both countries, and that Japan will be an important part of the Taliban’s foreign policy.
The Political Deputy Prime Minister of the Taliban stated that they, as a responsible government, have fulfilled all their commitments independently and without anyone’s assistance.
On the other hand, the Japanese ambassador in Kabul assured the continuation of his country’s assistance to Afghanistan and mentioned that Japan had previously announced ten million dollars for the fight against drugs.
The Japanese ambassador also noted that his country plans to construct 165 primary schools in 9 provinces of Afghanistan.
It is noteworthy that Japan is one of the most important donor countries to Afghanistan, continuing its aid after the Taliban came to power and reopening its embassy in Kabul.
