Possibility of Israel’s Retaliation Against Iran; Biden: It Won’t Happen Soon

Bayan News – Amid speculation about a potential retaliatory attack by Israel against Iran, Joe Biden, the President of the United States, says he is in discussions with the Israeli government regarding this matter.

According to American media, Biden made these remarks on Thursday (October 3) before leaving the White House for Florida and Georgia.

In response to a question about whether he supports an Israeli attack on Iran’s oil reserves in retaliation for a large-scale missile attack on Israel, he added, “We are discussing it, but nothing will happen today. We will talk about it later.”

Biden also stated two days ago that he does not support an Israeli attack on Iran’s nuclear sites.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of Israel, has warned in response to missile attacks by the Revolutionary Guards that Iran has made a “mistake” and will pay for it.

Israeli military officials have also stated that they will respond to Iranian missile attacks.

Iranian officials have warned that if Israel attempts a retaliatory action, Tehran’s response will be more severe.
