Bayan News – Xi Jinping, the President of China, urged the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) to enhance its skills in preparation for an all-out war following military exercises around the Taiwan Strait.
India’s NDTV, quoting China’s CCTV, reported that Xi called on his soldiers to boost their readiness for war after Beijing’s military drills around the Taiwan Strait.
According to the TV network, Xi made these remarks on Thursday during his visit to a missile force unit of the PLA.
The Chinese President stated that the military must “fully strengthen training and war preparedness and ensure that the troops possess strong combat capabilities.”
Xi’s call for the army to improve its skills on the scale of an all-out war comes after China recently concluded one of its largest military exercises around the Taiwan Strait.
