Bayan News – International media have reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a “strategic partnership agreement” between Moscow and Pyongyang.
According to documents published on Sunday, November 10, on an official Russian website, Putin signed a decree yesterday to approve this agreement. Reports indicate that under this agreement, if either Russia or North Korea is attacked by another country, they will support each other.
This agreement, initially reached in June during a meeting between Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang, was recently approved by the Russian Duma.
It is said that this strategic pact will strengthen Moscow-Pyongyang relations, especially in the context of the war in Ukraine.
South Korean and Western officials claim that North Korea has provided weapons to Russia, and Ukrainian experts have reported seeing evidence of these weapons in Russian attacks.
Additionally, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky recently stated that North Korea has sent around 11,000 troops to Russia, and that these forces have suffered casualties in battles against the Ukrainian military in Russia’s Kursk region.
