Mujahid: Journalists are Representatives and Links between the Nation and the System

Bayan News – Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson for the Taliban government, said in a message on the occasion of National Journalists’ Day in Afghanistan that journalists are representatives and links between the people and the system.

Mujahid wrote today, Monday (March 17), on the X platform: “I congratulate all journalists in the country on National Journalists’ Day. We wish them more success in their service within the framework of Islamic values and the national interests of the country.”

According to Mujahid, journalists are representatives and links between the people and the system, and he hopes that they will be more diligent than ever, taking into account the principles of the media.

Today coincided with National Journalists’ Day in Afghanistan, at a time when there are restrictions on freedom of expression in the country, and journalists are facing severe economic difficulties.
