Delegation of the National Resistance Front Goes to the U.S.

Bayan News – The National Resistance Front states that a delegation led by Ahmad Masood will travel to Washington for discussions with Michael McCaul, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee.

The Front added in a statement released last night (September 4): “We express our gratitude for the invitation and ongoing engagement of the U.S. Congress with the Front and the people of Afghanistan, and we support any dialogue that helps to navigate the current crisis in the country.”

The statement mentions that Ahmad Masood will send a delegation to represent the Front in Washington, and he himself will speak with McCaul virtually.

The Front also reiterated its call for the international community to unite against the terror and violence of the Taliban and to support the legitimate demands of the Afghan people for a chosen, legitimate, and acceptable system.

Recently, the chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee announced that he would meet and discuss with Ahmad Masood, the leader of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan, on September 10 of this year.
