Doha 3; A senior UN official dialogues with women representatives and human rights activists

Bayan News – It has been reported that Rosemary DiCarlo, the United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, has held a confidential dialogue with a number of women representatives and human rights activists.

Sources have told the media that the UN Deputy Secretary-General’s dialogue took place on Tuesday (June 25) through a virtual meeting.

The UN Deputy Secretary-General has considered the satisfaction of women and human rights activists as important in this meeting.

DiCarlo has added to the participants of this meeting that the Doha meeting is an ongoing process that will be pursued in several stages.

It has also been reported that tomorrow, Thursday, a face-to-face and virtual meeting of women and civil society activists with diplomats from some foreign countries will also be held.

It should be noted that the Doha meeting will be held on June 30 under the supervision of Ms. DiCarlo.

In this meeting, representatives of 30 countries and international organizations will participate.
