Putin: Use of North Korean Troops in Ukraine War Is No One’s Business

Bayan News – Russian President Vladimir Putin indirectly confirmed on Friday (October 25) on Russian state television that North Korean troops are being used in the Ukraine war.

Putin stated, “When we need to make a decision about something, we make it. But it’s our independent decision whether or not to apply it, whether we need it or not. This is our matter.”

The Russian president emphasized that Western nations have repeatedly said it’s up to Ukraine to determine how to secure itself, with or without NATO.

He further stressed, “The sooner they realize the futility of such an approach in relations with Russia, the better it will be for everyone, and perhaps especially for themselves.”

Meanwhile, U.S. officials announced on Wednesday that they had evidence suggesting that North Korea has sent three thousand soldiers to Russia for possible involvement in the Ukraine war, an action that the West considers a significant escalation of the conflict.

Ukrainian military intelligence also reported that the first units of North Korean troops, trained in Russia, have been deployed in the border region of Kursk, where Ukrainian forces captured parts of the area in August.
