Bayan News – Sources in the province of Nangarhar have told Afghan media that a young man in this province has taken his own life due to economic difficulties.
According to the sources, this young man threw himself into a 90-meter well in the Nazian district of this province on Saturday (March 30).
Local Taliban officials have confirmed the suicide of this young man and stated that he was suffering from a mental illness and lost his life after being thrown into the well.
It is worth mentioning that the rate of suicide among young people in Afghanistan has increased, and during the past year, such events have occurred in several provinces of Afghanistan.
Poverty, unemployment, an uncertain future, and other factors are considered important factors in the suicides of young people in Afghanistan.
